The Nation’s Most Advanced Port Police
The Virginia Port Authority Police Department is a professional law enforcement agency dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of the facilities, employees, stakeholders, and visitors across The Port of Virginia. Our dedicated department of patrol officers, security officers, and police dispatchers protect our employees, communities, and operations. All Port Police Officers attend the Hampton Roads Regional Criminal Justice Training Academy before being sworn into service as Certified Officers.
